| Scope |
The Command & Control Systems (C2S) Group is seeking an experienced Enterprise Operations Director to support the 4th Signal Center (Theater) residing in primary locations at Hawaii & Alaska USA and Okinawa, Japan as part of the Pacific-Theater Network Operations Security Center (PAC-TNOSC). The Enterprise Operations Director will be part of the computer network defense (CND) and security services team that will ensure the availability, integrity and confidentiality of the information and systems used in planning, coordinating, directing, controlling, and sustaining military forces.
The Enterprise Operations Director shall be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Enterprise Exchange e-mail system. Working closely with the Network Engineering Director and IT Manager, the Enterprise Operations Director will manage the Enterprise Exchange e-mail system, maintain, create/delete user accounts, provide spam and anti-virus protection, mail-box services and develop Active Directory Global Policies for classified and unclassified systems within the 4th Signal Center for the Pacific-Theater Network Operation and Security Center.

| General Duties |
Direct operational responsibility to:
- Manage the day-to-day operation of computer networks including hardware/software support, training, and special projects; planning, design and implementation of data connectivity for local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) systems
- Manage, monitor and secure the Enterprise Exchange e-mail system supporting users in the USARPAC Forest
- Establish and maintain user e-mail accounts; provide e-mail training and software support; provide e-mail documentation and update user manual as needed
- Ensure NIPR & SIPR connectivity to the Enterprise Exchange e-mail system
- Coordinate with work center information assurance (IA) staff to ensure APC firewalls are configured to protect the Enterprise Exchange e-mail system
- Monitor the Exchange e-mail system daily to ensure consistent performance
- Provide Exchange application support, mobile user support, mail operation, and maintenance and service desk operations
- Direct the development of Active Directory Global Policies (GPO), Theater Tier 2 Exchange services, WSUS and SCCM execution, SMS application standardization, and Active directory DNS maintenance
- Assist in coordinating special projects including network related wiring plans, LAN/WAN hardware/software purchases, and system installation, backup, maintenance and problem solving
- Maintain network user documentation including hardware/software applications, support logs and other related information
- Monitor network usage to ensure security of data and access privileges; install, support and maintain network servers and appliances; establish and maintain user accounts, profiles, file sharing, access privileges and security; perform daily server tape backups
- Develop, maintain and implement network support, and archiving procedures
- Respond, identify, prioritize, and isolate, the determination and resolution of significant problem events through the use of network management tools, test equipment and/or the diagnostic capabilities of firewalls, routers, and switches
- Discover and investigate suspect behavior, including application performance and availability analysis

| Required Qualifications |
- Must have 5-7+ years of experience in Network Administration/Engineering, Security and Systems Administration
- Must be IAT-III (CISSP) Certified
- Must be Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE)
- 3-5 years experience in Windows Workstation & Server Operating Systems , Windows Active Directory, Unix (Solaris, HPUX, BSD, Linux (Red Hat), Storage Area Network (SAN), Active Directory services
- Ability to provide network support outside of core networking areas/strengths to include potential exposure with VOIP, SAN/NAS, IPS, IDS, Active Directory, Exchange, IIS, Disaster Recovery Strategies, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco Routers and Switches
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN/DMZ connections and segregations
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols including VRRP, BGP, iBGP, HSRP, RSTP, RIP, SIP and Multicast
- High level of experience implementing and administrating common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, OSPF, VPN, IPSEC etc
- Ability to troubleshoot a wide array of system, networking and hardware problems
- Working knowledge of PKI, digital certifications, and security tokens
- Must possess exceptional teaming skills and will have extensive experience working with senior customers
- Must possess an active Secret Clearance
- Must meet overseas medical deployment qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION (INCLUDING MAJOR)
- Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Science or Mathematics, and five to seven years of related operational experience in Enterprise Exchange e-mail services
