Enterprise Services Active Directory Engineer  

 

Scope

The Command & Control Systems (C2S) Group is seeking an experienced Enterprise Services Active Directory Engineer to support the 7th Theater Signal Brigade residing in Bagram Afghanistan, as part of the Joint NETOPS Control Center-Afghanistan (JNCC-A) in Bagram, Afghanistan.   The Enterprise Services Active Directory Engineer will be part of a Command, Control, Communications, and Computer Information (C4I) services team that will support planning, program management, integration, operation, and maintenance of a unified network management function for all C2 systems and services of the Program

General Duties

Direct operational responsibility to: 

  • Serve as Theater Subject Matter experts and performs all maintenance and execution tasks required for 24 hour support services
  • Additional responsibility for execution and theater dissemination include Active Directory Global Policy (GPO) development, Theater Tier 2 Exchange services, WSUS and SCCM execution, SMS application standardization, and Active directory DNS maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Science or Business Administration or Mathematics
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft ISA Server
  • Working knowledge of Kerbros and Windows Authentication
  • Working knowledge of PKI, digital certifications, & security tokens
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy
  • Visual Basic, scripting or Visual Basic experience
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) required
  • Must possess an active Secret Clearance
  • Must meet overseas medical deployment qualifications
