Enterprise Services Web Master and Portal Engineer  

 

Scope

The Command & Control Systems (C2S) Group is seeking an experienced Enterprise Services Web Master and Portal Engineer to support the 7th Theater Signal Brigade residing in Bagram Afghanistan, as part of the Joint NETOPS Control Center-Afghanistan (JNCC-A) in Bagram, Afghanistan.   The Enterprise Services Web Master and Portal Engineer will be part of a Command, Control, Communications, and Computer Information (C4I) services team that will support planning, program management, integration, operation, and maintenance of a unified network management function for all C2 systems and services of the Program

General Duties

Direct operational responsibility to: 

  • The Theater SME shall manage, monitor and maintain situational awareness of all Web/Portal systems and projects under the responsibility of the USFOR-A CJOA
  • Will serve as the Theater Subject Matter expert’s and maintenance support engineer’s for all Web/Portal requirements in the CJOA
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Science or Business Administration or Mathematics
  • Two (2+) years of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET
  • Two (2+) years of experience MOSS or Microsoft Project Server 2007
  • Experienced with dealing with Front End Web server performance, indexing performance, SQL performance 
  • Must have MCSE certification
  • Must possess an active Secret Clearance
  • Must meet overseas medical deployment qualifications
Desired Qualifications
  • Microsoft Certified Professional in one or more areas of specialization: Windows SharePoint platforms (preferred) or related Web/HTML/CSS technologies;
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Unix System Administration Certification (USAC)
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast paced environment with short timelines
  • Ability to maintain a professional and courteous manner in difficult situations
  • Ability to maintain high quality work to manage multiple critical projects
  • Ability to perform and participate in a team oriented environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of network users
  • Excellent customer service skills and demeanor
