McMunn Associates, Inc. Capabilities

McMunn Associates, Inc., a Service-disabled Veteran-owned Small Business, offers a “best value” solution to the NORAD/NORTHCOM requirements. With seasoned real-world experience in all-source analysis, MAI brings a wide range of attributes relevant to the NORAD/NORTHCOM N2AnS Statement of Work. In addition to the ongoing NORAD/NORTHCOM J2 Training Support Contract, MAI customers for civil maritime, analytical and systems support include various Department of Defense commands and agencies and the Department of Homeland Security.

MAI training efforts have expanded from an initial (and continuing) endeavor at the European Command’s Joint Analysis Center (JAC), Molesworth, UK to the Fleet Intelligence Training Center, Pacific (FITCPAC), the Joint Intelligence Training Activity, Pacific (JITAP), the Naval and Marine Corps Intelligence Training Center (NMITC) and the US Joint Forces Command (JFCOM) Regional Joint Intelligence Training Facility (RJITF).

As an incumbent on existing NORAD/NORTHCOM efforts, MAI has developed a deep understanding of the mission and training needs for analysts in the J22 Combined Intelligence and Fusion Center (CFIC) and the J23 Operational Intelligence Watch (OIW) and have developed an innovative and responsive training program. MAI personnel interact on a daily basis with both senior J2 officials and the NORAD/NORTHCOM analysts themselves in delivering a product that has been cited on many occasions as exemplary.

Also directly relevant to the NORAD/NORTHCOM N2A2S Statement of Work, MAI is a recognized leader in providing the gamut of “no fault” (but nonetheless extremely realistic) exercises involving Weapons of Mass Destruction and critical energy-related infrastructure Crisis and Consequence Management scenarios. Tailored to audiences ranging from senior Federal, state and local government decision makers to the all-important first responders, MAI stresses the prior planning, coordination and communication necessary to make a “real world” interagency response actually function as it was designed to do.
