SMDO is the largest operation within SPARTA, Inc, and is based in Colorado Springs with over 190 technical and administrative personnel contributing to our operations. SPARTA brings together people, processes, and tools that form a Center of Homeland Defense/Security Excellence supporting the NORAD-USNORTHCOM operations.

Our support derives from experts in Space and Missile Defense, Modeling & Simulation, Logistics, Special Operations, Training and Exercises and MACA Analysis and Planning. Our work with Weapons of Mass Destruction through the DHS and the work we are doing with Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection and Critical Infrastructure Protection rounds out our capabilities that support the INTECON Team and NORAD-NORTHCOM operations.
