Jodie Anderson- President and Chief Executive Officer
Since 2016, Jodie Anderson’s goal for INTECON has been to ensure that the company continues Mike Anderson’s legacy, in keeping with the INTECON business model and our corporate Guiding Principles (Customer Service, Employee Support, Community Development, and Business Continuity). Our role in maintaining positive, moral and ethical practices in the management of our programs provides the foundation of our interaction with our customers. These guiding principles are the backbone of INTECON.
Before assuming leadership of INTECON, Jodie served as the company’s Vice President of Finance; Vice President of International Operations; Program Manager; Recruiting/Deployment Manager and Information Technology Manager. Her career spans numerous information technology roles, including hardware and software engineering, software development, and technical program management, for both large and small businesses. Her background in the IT and Finance arenas coupled with having worked in nearly every area of operations at INTECON enables the company to be a responsible contractor to our customers. Jodie’s emphasis on compliance with corporate mechanisms for quality—such as our ISO 9001:2015 program—is key to INTECON’s engagement in the federal contracting industry as we adhere to our customers’ schedules, budgets, and mission objectives.

Richard Buckwalter - Chief Operations Officer (COO)
Richard Buckwalter became INTECON’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) in April 2019. He has 30 years of experience in providing leading edge communications and IT solutions to Federal Government customers. He is responsible for the overall operations of INTECON across its many partners and customers. He recently served as the Director, Technical Operations for a small start up focused on the impact of cellular telephone technology on the IoT and spent numerous years in technical and leadership roles at DRS. Previous positions included Senior Vice President ATSC where he managed the effort to secure a $60M Single Source USAF contract to provide a comprehensive border security solution to the Arab Republic of Egypt. Vice President and General Manager Army Operations for the $390M Tactical Communications and Network Solutions Line of Business (LOB) of DRS Technical Services, Inc. (DRS TSI), an operating element of DRS Technologies, Inc. supporting customers in the Communications Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (formerly the Communications Electronics Command-CECOM) community including their customers throughout the world. Prior to this, Richard was the Program Manager Forward supporting the Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA) and the Multi-National Force Iraq (M-NFI) for DRS Technical Services, Inc. In this capacity, he was responsible for managing 184 automation and communications contractors that engineered, integrated, installed, operated, and maintained all of the communications systems for the CPA, M-NFI, and subordinate commands within the US Embassy Annex and 21 enclaves in the Green Zone. He has deployed on extended missions to Bosnia, Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Iraq performing both as a technical expert and program manager with increasing levels of responsibility. He has a BSPS from Oregon State University, and an Executive Master of Business Administration in Technology Management from Stevens Institute of Technology.
Jim Soos - Chief Strategy Officer (CSO)
Jim became INTECON’s Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) in April 2019. He has 39 years of progressive experience in the Defense and Federal contracting communities providing strategic marketing, M&A, business development and proposal development activities. He is responsible for setting top-level corporate direction for strategic markets, pursuits, growth initiatives and proposals. Throughout his career, he has led capture efforts, developed proposals and assisted in the creation and bidding strategies across a diverse customer community including DoD, various Armed Services, and Federal Agencies. He has extensive experience with pricing, GSA contracting and small business issues. He has had leadership roles in Strategic Planning, Business Development, Capture Management, and Operations for diverse companies such as MacAulay-Brown, Lockheed Martin, Sytex, and Alion. Additionally, he has promoted Small Business outreach and has served as a board member of several start-ups and Joint Ventures. He has bachelor’s degree in Economics from GWU, as well as graduate work in Management and professional studies.
Anthony Rudeen- Director of International Operations
Mr. Rudeen brings 30 years of combined experience in business operations and military service. While working in the Small Business arena, he has dedicated his efforts to ensure that INTECON became an outstanding performer. For the last 12 years, Mr. Rudeen has worked in increasingly responsible roles within the company, including Deputy Program Manager, Program Manager, and Director. As a leader, his role facilitated significant improvements in processes within the organization and helped INTECON achieve its goal to become the preeminent small business in the Colorado Springs area. Mr. Rudeen retired from the U.S. Army with more than 22 years of experience at multiple levels within the U.S. Army, Special Operations Command (USASOC), and has extensive knowledge in military operations, intelligence, communications, and special operations.
Michelle Tomberlin- Program Manager
Ms. Tomberlin joined INTECON in 2007. Michelle has more than 25 years of experience supporting national and local government organizations, including 12 years of full life cycle program management experience with subcontracts and prime contracts for INTECON. She is the Sr PM and lead government interface managing INTECON’s NORAD-USNORTHCOM (N-NC) Technical Advisory and Assistance Services (TA2S) and DISA Enterprise System Management (ESM) Tools and Information Technology (IT) Installations and Cabling Support Prime Contracts. She has managed a series of INTECON subcontracts supporting the Land Warrior, BCMS 3, NISSC, MiDEASS, TEAMS, EITC, SITEC and CAMMO programs serving as the PM and key interface to our prime contractors. Michelle spearheaded the implementation of processes and standards which resulted in INTECON receiving its initial ISO 9001 certification in 2012 and has been actively involved in our continuing certifications (ISO 9001:2015). Prior to joining the INTECON Team, Michelle spent 7 years with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO) in various positions to include the role of EPSO Training Coordinator and 6 years in a variety of supervisory roles with AAFES. She is Project Manager Professional (PMP) certified through the Project Management Institute (PMI). She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from New Mexico State University.
