Scope

The Command & Control Integrated Systems (C2IS) Programs Group is seeking an experienced Information Assurance Manager (IAM) to support the existing Multi National Forces Iraq (MNF-I) Headquarters in Iraq. The IAM is responsible for creating, reviewing, updating and submitting paperwork for certification and accreditation procedures, processes, and regulatory requirements on DoD networks. Must be familiar with network vulnerability scanners (ex. Retina, Harris STAT, ISS, etc.) and document results in relation to residual risk identification. The candidate must have experience in incident handling processes (classified spillage) and the procedures necessary in returning a network to compliance. The candidate will implement and enforce security policies across the organization. They will be responsible for securing multiple networks of various classification levels. Additionally, the IA manager shall be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the IA program and documentation pursuant to the DIACAP process and related DoD IT security requirements and business best practices. This position requires hands on expertise in the detection and protection of all information capabilities pertaining to the use of DoD information system software, hardware, and firmware. The candidate must be able to address IA in the management of systems configurations, mitigating identified IA vulnerabilities, and reporting and responding to IA violations and incidents.

Required Skills

• Must have a minimum of a BS or 5 years equivalent experience, with at least 3 years specific experience in information assurance or network security.

• Must have a firm understanding of certification and accreditation procedures, processes, and regulatory requirements.

• Must be willing to travel routinely, sometimes to hazardous duty areas throughout Iraq.

• Must understand and be able to generate and implement an Interim Approval to Operate package.

• Knowledgeable with the DIACAP process.
• Must be DoD IA Level II certified;

• Must be a US citizen;

• Must have a US SECRET security clearance

Desired Skills

• Certified as an Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• Certifications in: CISSP, SANs, Cisco and Microsoft.

Required Education

A minimum Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical experience is required.
