Information Assurance Security Officer

 

Scope	The Command & Control Integrated Systems (C2IS) Programs Group is seeking an experienced Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO) to support the existing Multi National Forces Iraq (MNFI) Headquarters, in Camp Victory, Iraq. The candidate must be familiar with the DoD standards - guiding the development of IA policy, requirements, engineering and certification and accreditation. As an IASO, he will be responsible for the implementation and enforcement of DoD and MNF-I security policies throughout the Iraqi Theater of Operations. He must be able to complete incident handling processes and analyze data from scans; and required to secure UNIX or Microsoft operating systems as needed.
Required Skills	• Must have a minimal 4 years experience • Must be able to translate security policies and requirements into an IA configuration implementation and application requirements • Possess the ability to perform network and host vulnerability scans and document results in relation to residual risk identification • Must be familiar with network vulnerability scanners (ex. Retina, Harris STAT, ISS, etc.); patch management software (ex. WSUS, Update Expert, SMS, Hercules, etc) and have experience with web content filtering (ex. Websense, Blue Coat, etc) • Must have a US SECRET security clearance • Must be a US citizen.
Desired Skills	• Be certified as an Information System Auditor (CISA) • Possess certifications from the following: CISSP, SANs, Cisco and Microsoft;
Required Education	A minimum Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical experience is required.
