Make-A-Wish Foundation of ColoradoFri, 4 Mar 2011 Each month INTECON donates money to help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Since being founded in 1983, the chapter has granted more than 3,300 wishes to eligible Colorado children. Make-A-Wish Foundation finances its endeavors through corporate sponsors, foundations, service clubs, fund-raisers and individual contributions. Make-A-Wish is not funded by United Way, nor does it receive any government funding. The Colorado chapter is part of the largest wish-granting organization in the world, with 65 chapters in the United States and its territories, along with 27 international affiliates on five continents.
