Executive Officer to the Deputy Commander in Chief of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and also a Command Director at Cheyenne Mountain U.S. Air Force Academy graduate in 1982. Completed Undergraduate Pilot Training at Columbus AFB, Mississippi Bachelor's degree in Operations Research from the U.S. Air Force Academy Distinguished Graduate from the Squadron Officers School at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama MS in Human Resource Management from Troy State University in Alabama Completed Air Command and Staff College as a "Top Third" graduate, and served in the Operations Directorate of the Joint Staff, Counter-Narcotics Division. Returned to the operational community as Operations Officer, 8th Airlift Squadron; Rodeo Team Commander lauded "Best Active Duty Team in Air Mobility Command" Commander 7th Airlift Squadron, and Deputy Commander, 62nd Operations Group, McChord AFB, Washington Participated in a Fellowship at the George C. Marshall Center for European Studies, and served as the Vice Commander USAFE Air Mobility Operations Control Center and Commander 86th Operations Group, Ramstein AFB Germany. Recipient of the Legion of Merit Medal, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal and the Antarctic Service Medal.
